Cosma Brush Technology - What is (automatic) deburring?

Cosma knows the special surface treatment techniques of every industry like no other. Deburring means removing burrs from a metal surface or edge. The goal of deburring is to soften sharp edges and create smooth metal surfaces. It is very important to deburr because for one, this prevents customers and yourself from hurting themself on the burrs. Metal or plastic burrs come in all shapes and sizes like wood splinters and when removing these burrs with Cosma deburring brushes, you achieve a smooth edge and thus a safer product.

Another reason is for aesthetic purposes. The deburring brushes are made to smooth and finish metal surfaces and edges after for example laser-cutting, punching holes and processing metal parts. Due to our extensive research and long life-time experience you can count on Cosma for cost-saving brush technologies and optimal deburring results.

Our brushes are balanced according to Iso norm 1940-1 grade: Q 6,3.
